We all love entertainment, but some influencers continue to find ways to cross the line. Shane Dawson had two particular videos show up that have been trending on the internet, exposing his disgusting mind.
All of these videos are extremely disturbing for a lot of people. In the span of 24-hours of the internet’s findings, Shane posted an “apology,” but a lot of people see a lot of flaws with it.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen such disturbing videos. We have Logan Paul, who filmed a video in Japan’s suicide forest and had a person’s dead body in the video. Shay Carl’s conversations popped up about him saying some extremely vulgar stuff to a woman with a husband and family.
We must hold people accountable.
Do YouTubers Realize What They’re Doing?
To be a YouTuber who gets to create videos for a living is one of my biggest dreams. It would be amazing to make an income from doing exactly what I love.
Odds are, people like Shane Dawson achieved their dream goal of creating videos for a living.
So why do they throw the amazing opportunity away?
I am bamboozled that he took jokes extremely overboard. All he had to do was continue creating content that wasn’t racist, pedophilia-like, and just outright wrong.
In the moment of writing out the scripts and ideas for their videos, do they think about the potential repercussions down the line? Just because a joke is funny to them, doesn’t mean it’s going to resonate with everybody — this isn’t about pleasing everyone and making everybody happy.
This is about the fact that they have an enormous platform, and a lot of eyes are watching.
